Friendship :D

Hi all!

Today I'll talk about the friendship!

In my life I haven't had many friends, but the ones I have are very good friends.
In a friend I value honesty, loyalty, real affection and support in happy and sad moments of my life. A friend must have good sense of humor and being a good counselor.
For three years I have seen a few times to my friends, because some ones work, others are in another city or they are always busy with college; but when we meet we talked a lot and we love us as usual. Although we see a little with my best friends, we always support together in the sad and happy moments.
Exactly, I have seven good friends in the city of Curico, among them including my boyfriend who is a sincere and loyal person, who is always in every time of my life and who really loves me, besides having a very good sense of humor and be a good counselor. In Santiago I have 9 friends who are from the University. and I feel that we are training every day a beautiful friendship, very loving, have a good sense of humor, are good counselors and always support me when I need them, they are very cute!.
The truth is that I don't make friends easily, because I like to know people well. I consider myself a good friend, because I am honest, loyal, always want the best for my friends and I try to always support the people I love, giving them good advice.
I never made friends on internet, because I'm not a long time online and I think that we can't know well the people on this way.
My best friend's name is Javiera and we are friends since age 5, from 18 years ago. We met in college, we were classmates. Javiera is very good friend, is a great person, very caring and concerned about our friendship, we see a little throughout the year, because both occupy much time in college, but when we get together is as if we had seen from yesterday.
I maintain the contact with some high school friends, sometimes I see them, but very little during the year, because they are in Curico and I am in Santiago.

Good bye everybody!

My job in the future

Hi all!

Today I will talk about the work that I would like to have in the future.
After I finish my career, I would like to specialize in the arts work with children, especially with children between age 1 and 5 years old. This is because in the future, when I will working, I want to focus on children can maximize their creativity and to apply this learning through the arts to all aspects of his life that way, I think that children can open their senses to work with music, theater, painting, etc., and reflect, think more about what is happening around them.
I would like to get a job in which the focus is to accompany children to develop, encourage and they create reflections and thoughts about the world. I would like to work in a kindergarten with children between 1 and 5 years of age, where children have the possibility of having a large courtyard with plants, trees and animals such as rabbits, chickens, etc.., so that they can learn from near something about the nature.
I think as I would like to work in a kindergarten where children can enjoy nature and create your thoughts reflecting on the world, the aspects considered when choosing a job would be: the city where you are located kindergarten, preferably in another city than Santiago; another aspect would be the space that has kindergarten, ie having a large yard with trees and animals, another important point to note would be the atmosphere of teamwork with other educators, because I think that teamwork and a pleasant working environment is important and necessary, I think that these are very important aspects among others such as the pay and working hours.
If in case that in a job interview they ask me about my strengths and weaknesses, I reply that my strengths are: be creative, motivated when something interests me greatly, collaborating at work, I always want to give the best of me and I work to give children and myself the ability to learn and to create together learning and reflective thoughts about the world. On my weaknesses, I would say: I´m a little frustrated when something does not work as I wanted it to be and I'm a little bit negative, but I always put all the effort of my part to comply good my work.

Hope you like it what I wrote!

See you!

The hope of a clean planet...

Hello to all!

Today I will talk about how worried I am about to take care of our nature and environment. I don't know what shade of green I am, but since I was a little girl, my mother and me take care for plants, trees, flowers and lawns of our house. In summer with my mother we water the grass, trees and flowers every night, and we water the plants every two days, because too much water is bad for them. In winter, give water to the grass less often, because it rains often. In my department here in Santiago, I have two plants that are interior, this means they must be inside the house; these plants were a present from my boyfriend's grandmother. I have been concerned to water them once a week, and once a month I left them in the shower to clean all their leaves.

We learn to take care of our environment, watching television shows where we advise, or searching in the Internet tips for care for nature. Always I meet people who recycle trash, but I don't do that, though it seems a good idea to talk to my neighbors to recycle our garbage, would be a good contribution to the care of the environment. In Curicó, frequently I use the bike to get around from one place to another, but here in Santiago I'm afraid to ride a bike, because I think there are many cars and I consider it unsafe, though there are bike path, there isn't in all parts. I don't support any environmental organizations, because I'm not very informed about them. To reduce my carbon footprint, I try to walk or ride my bike to mobilize myself in Curicó and here in Santiago, I get around by bus or metro and walk.

In our society we need to be aware with the care of the environment, we need to know that Santiago is highly polluted, how bad the pollution does to nature, to our body and animals. We need to help inform us to save our environment.

Goodbye! See you next class!

Books and literature :)

I only read books once in a while, because I've never been very fond of reading. When I was a child, in school they told us what books we had to read, but I don't liked those books, were boring. In my life I do not know how many books I read, but now in college I have to read a lot and I started to like it a bit.
I like to read romance novels and mystery, both immersed me in reading and I can't stop reading. I have two books that I liked a lot, the first one I read at age 17 "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown, and "A orillas del río piedra me senté y lloré" by Paulo Coelho, which is the last thing that I read.
"The Da Vinci Code" I enjoyed it a lot, because it's a novel of mystery and suspense, I could not stop reading, because I wanted to discover the riddles that are given on each page. The last book I read was "A orillas del río piedra me senté y lloré", I enjoyed it too, the story is about a man and a woman who were friends since childhood and when they are adults they meet again. They are in love, but the life he leads each one is different, then they have to make important decisions to be together.
Always takes me a lot of time to read a book, but these two books took me nothing of time, felt the need to know what happens next. I absolutely recommend to my friends both novels are very interesting and both have love and suspense.
This is a phrase I liked about "A orillas del río piedra me senté y lloré":
"We only fully understand the miracle of life when we allow the unexpected happen."
See you next class!

My News.

Sex education can help tackle the abuse of girls. So will the Tories commit to it?

By Holly Dustin.

The Guardian, Friday 5 October 2012 14.00 BST

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/oct/05/sex-education-child-abuse-tories

This article is about the need to educate sexually in the schools on England to prevent sexual abuse of girls and young women in that country.
The article starts by mentioning that in recent weeks the news has talked about the vulnerability of girls in Rochdale, who were victims of professors who were caring for them but were repeatedly abused.
It says about a man named Jimmy Savile who is accused of sexual abuse against many girls.
It says in this article that abusers are adept at manipulating their victims and cover up their crimes against the authorities. It talks about the impact of pornography on men from an early age, and often produces harmful behavior towards women. So the idea is that educate children sexually in the schools, informing them on issues such as sexual exploitation and sexual consent and can talk to a trusted adult about these issues so they know where to turn in case of abuse.
The idea is that young people know their rights and this issue was discussed at an annual conference on sex education.
The article provides information that showing more or less the amount of children who are victims of sexual abuse in the schools and mentions research by NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) and other research by themselves.
Teachers say they feel unprepared to address these issues in the schools, and the article mentions that want to train teachers so they can talk about the types of violence and don’t overlook abuse cases.
It is mentioned that they are doing a campaign called "Schools Safe 4 Girls", which is called the parents and students in their schools to ask how it is addressing the issue of sexual abuse.
Finally asked the coalition government specifically a man Michael Gove, how it will respond to this issue.

See you next Friday!

National Holidays.

Hi all!

Today I going to talk about the Independence Day holidays.
The Independence Day holidays seem entertaining; they are days where I can hang out with friends, being with family and rest. This September 18 was spent worried about my father who is ill and is hospitalized in Santiago, so it was a week in which I shared more with my mother, brother, boyfriend and friends quietly in Curicó, but missing my father and thinking of him, so when I arrived in Santiago I went to visit the hospital several hours and be accompanied. Anyway, my mother, on national holidays, made a roast and always has to eat "mote con huesillos", that I love it, and ate a empanada, but no more, because they make me ill to my stomach.
The week of national holidays, not only shared with my loved ones in Curicó, I also read some texts for college and plan my activities for kindergarten in practice that I'm doing this semester, in which all this was excellent and I'm very excited about that!
What I dislike about national holidays, is the people that only remember the country for the September 18 and the rest of the year they don't remember, so much emotion showing some people around this time I think it's a bit fake, and many people don't know what they're celebrating and when really should be held.
Despite what has been said, on national holidays I could relax in my house in Curicó, been with my mother who I always miss her, with my brothers, boyfriend, my pet "Pacy" and friends. I went to the house of some friends to talk about life and how we were, saw some television, bathed my pet, I helped my mother in the house, went shopping and much more. But I love that my father had been in Curicó, would have been happier with my people.

Hugs and kisses!

My wonderful holidays :D

In my life I have had very good holidays, I have met wonderful places with wonderful people, family and friends, but the latter have been the best holidays.
The last summer I spend some wonderful holidays in Mexico. I traveled with my boyfriend Antonio to house of his family in Ciudad Guzman, in the State of Jalisco. The family of my boyfriend is chilean, but lives in Mexico, because the Antonio´s father works there.
When we arrived in Mexico with my boyfriend, specifically Guadalajara, the parents of him were waiting to take us to Ciudad Guzman.

Ciudad Guzmán is a beautiful city, people are nice and the food is delicious! I win about 5 kilos in Mexico haha.
We traveled to places such as Manzanillo, a very nice beach! Went with my boyfriend's family, his parents, his sisters, his nephew and brother. Was a Great moment! We also went to another beach called Puerto Vallarta. This beach is wonderful, with very much tourism, especially from the United States. In Puerto Vallarta we went to the beach and pubs.  In there we ate delicious food and I buy some souvenier.

We also went to the mountain, about 4,500 meters high. We walked a lot, but a man took us for a ride to the top of the mountain. It was a nice experience! A whole day is occupied in this trip and we reached to the snow, way up.
Once went with my boyfriend and some friends to eat "carnitas" (meat roast in a fund) to San Juan de Espanatica, a town near Ciudad Guzman.
We traveled for many places in Mexico, we met very nice people. I bought tequila and other gifts for my people in Chile and I remember especially of this trip that me and my boyfriend we gain weight eating many tacos, carnitas, burritos, etc., haha. Was a excellent holiday! I hope to return one day with my boyfriend.

Love to all!
